Class Descriptions
Slow Flow with Margaret McChesney:
**Slow Flow Yoga**
This gentle, accessible class is ideal for beginners, those returning to the mat after a break, or anyone navigating injury. We slow things down to mindfully explore each pose—deepening sensation, discovering new muscle engagement, and refining alignment. With the support of props and compassionate guidance, you’ll safely build strength, stability, and flexibility. This calming, nourishing practice meets you exactly where you are.
Strong Flow with Kristin Powers:
Strong Flow is a vinyasa style yoga class, combining dynamic movement, conscious breath work, and mindfulness. Each movement is paired with intentional pranayama (breath), guiding the body and mind into a state of balance and presence. Emphasizing mindfulness, the class encourages self-awareness and mental clarity, helping to cultivate a deeper connection to our bodies and breath. This invigorating flow enhances both physical and mental strength and resilience, leaving you feeling centered, energized, rejuvenated, and strong!
Vinyasa Flow with Emma Weatherhogg:
Each vinyasa class will be a balance of the physical postures, breathwork, and yogic philosophy. An intentionally crafted safe and non-judgmental space that honors embodiment, self-expression and compassion while staying rooted in the present moment. The theme will vary each week.
Vinyasa Flow with Brooke Hughes-Muse:
Vinyasa Flow classes will be comprised of centering and breath work, Sun Salutations A & B, balance and floor poses and class will end with a 5 minute savasana. Each class will emphasize the importance of connecting the mind and body with the breath, moving from one pose to another with intention. This class will also be zoomed for anyone interested in joining.
Restorative Class with Brooke Hughes-Muse:
Restorative classes will usually spend the hour on the floor, using blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps to allow the body to settle into each pose without holding. This is not a flow class and each pose will be held - supported by the props - from 3 to 10 minutes each. Restorative yoga is a great way to wrap up your day. Most classes will also have themed readings to go along with each pose, as well as the chance to be intentional with your breath.
Flow + Let Go with Emma Weatherhogg:
A flow-based class that invites you to follow sensation not shape. We’ll build warmth and presence, then let the body speak - with a playful and improvised movement break in the middle. Come as you are, and leave maybe a little more you. All levels welcome.
